I recently did the low and slow cooking course with Matt and can highly recommend it. Matt sets a really calm and enjoyable tone from the outset, allowing you to soak up every word he says, or simply enjoy the food, depending on your disposition.

His recipes and advice cuts through the noise that you'll see when trying to research how to get the best results with your BBQ and I left with some really useful tips.

Beyond the excellent instruction, the food was fantastic and plentiful.

We could not have been more delighted by the incredible event that Matt and Stewart orchestrated for my husband’s 50th birthday.
It all felt effortless and easy for Matt and Stewart to look after us so royally and the food was absolutely delicious. Tasty, seasonal, wholesome and absolutely top notch, beautifully presented and plenty of it! The guys managed to look after 24 of us calmly and were constantly checking that we were happy and whether we needed any more food.
On top of feeling thoroughly spoilt, Matt and Stewart left everything beautifully clean, so that’s was a real treat.

I have attended an outstanding day with Matt Cross in conjunction with Weber Grills. It was great to have a true expert show the  grill off working as intended and to their best.

His enthusiasm was contagious, and the cooking was on a different level. I can not recommend his bbq academy highly enough. A must do if you like cooking more than just burgers on a bbq!

I am definitely returning, this time with my wife to complete the essentials 2 class and open fire, then who knows.

Unbelievable food quality every time . I have been eating @ Cross fire cooking for nearly a year and it nevers disappoints . This has to be the best smoked food in the Uk hands down . Pork ribs , beef ribs , brisket and featherblade all unreal
